Miaztezhnyi 8D (or for those that can't type all that : MZ, MZ8D) is the webmaster of this site. I have been playing Classic BattleTech, it was then known as simply BattleTech, since 1991. I have been a loyal supporter of House Davion since 1994. This site in a personal expression of my love and support of the game. I thank you for visiting the site and hope you come back, or better yet share some of your own submissions. Some of you may be interested in my life outside the hobby, but as I am a private person, the rest of my private life will remain so. MadDogMaddux (MDM for short) was the original author of the idea that produced this site. His original vision was to create a single site that could serve as a clearing-house of information and rally point specifically for all CBT players devoted to House Davion. When MZ8D agreed to kick the project off, MDM was right there with him, helping to design the new site, and to moderate the message board. MDM has been playing Battletech since 1992 when he stumbled onto a game being played at a BoyScout camping trip. On the forums at ClassicBattletech.com, MDM serves as the Marshall of the Armies for the Federated Suns, and GMs an RPG. He has recently become a FanPro Commando (#132), and is the Editor-in-Chief for The Review, which is an In-Universe magazine published by AFFSHC.net.
